Morcheeba - Live at Jazz a Vienne

While the London group Morcheeba has undergone several reshuffles since its creation in 1995 – the singer Skye Edwards left the project in 2003 only to be drawn back seven years later – this configuration seems to be one of their most accomplished; the blood-ties make it so. Indeed, the musicians complicity is rooted in family. Edwards is accompanied by her husband Steve Gordon on bass and by her son Jaega Mckenna-Gordon on drums. She makes for a natural leader of the group, as demonstrated by this 2018 concert filmed at the Vienna Jazz Festival.
